Waiting Game

So we have finally reached the holding pattern part of pregnancy. I am full term but not 40 weeks yet.

I must admit, that I have felt pretty good up until this weekend. This weekend it is like my body has decided that 20+ lbs. is too much to carry and that my short little frame will no longer gladly carry this baby. I also seem to have lost my patience for being pregnant and have become completely whiney! Ask my husband, he will gladly tell you that now all I want to do is eat chocolate and sleep all day. I don't want to do laundry, go to work, take care of little man or any other productive thing. I have continued to load the dish washer and I am trying to keep up with our laundry. I also noticed today I have little patience and am very short (in my inner monologue, not in real life) with people.

For me this time around has been less stressful. I know what is going on and while I may ache more, it freaks me out a little less. I have not journaled at all (though I barely did with LM). We have taken maybe 10 or less pregnancy pictures. I definitely feel like I nested this time. I feel like I used all the remaining energy I had to make sure that our room and the baby stuff is down and clean for our bundle. While I am tired of being pregnant, I am about as ready as I was last time, if not more so. I am enjoying the movements of the baby and the wonders of pregnancy but there is a reason you are only pregnant for 40 weeks or so. If it were longer I would go insane.

So if you see a extremely, tired pregnant lady, my advice is don't ask her how long until she is due or any pregnancy related question, help her if she needs help and leave her alone if she doesn't!

Sorry for the randomness of this entry.
